About the Saudi Health Mission

The Ministry of Health created Saudi Health Missions in the United States, Europe and the Middle East to meet the needs of both the Ministry of Health and the patients undergoing intensive medical treatment outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The main purpose is to oversee the treatment of Saudi patients sent by the Ministry of Health to the United Sates for medical treatment. Patients who are sent abroad usually suffer from conditions which are untreatable in the Kingdom or which exceed its capability to treat those conditions.

The Saudi Health Mission also assists every Saudi citizen who has questions regarding physicians, medical facilities, and medications in the United States. It also assists the Ministry of Health in its recruiting efforts.
